Q. What does testing and tagging my cords an electrical appliances involve?
powerTAG will attend your workplace, and work with you to determine which cords and appliances require testing, and put in place a plan of action to ensure the testing takes place in the most efficient manner, to ensure the least disturbance to you, and to ensure the price is as affordable as possible.
Next, each electrical cord and appliance will be tested as per the following
- Visual Inspection: Firstly the appliance shall be checked to ensure that it is in good physical condition and there are no obvious signs of damage/danger.
- Electrical Testing: The appliance shall be tested with a Portable Appliance Tester (PAT) to test for any unseen electrical faults.
- Record Keeping: Once the appliance is tested a record of the appliance and the test outcomes as well as who tested it is made.
