Our Aim

To provide you with the most efficient, cost effective test and tag service available within Australia.

Why Test and Tag? Two Main Reasons.

1. The usual legal reasons. Australian legislation requires workplaces to test and tag their electrical chords and equipment. There is good reason for this. Cords and electrical appliances become unsafe - its just a matter of time. Workplaces accidents happen, and if it caused by faulty electrical equipment, you are going to be held liable, and your insurance company may not cover you.
   
   
2. Safety. Forget the legal consequences for a moment. 25% of all workplace and home fires are caused by faulty electrical equipment. No electrical equipment lasts forever, its not a matter of it it will fail, its when, and what is going to happen when it does.
   
   By having all of your ‘plug in’ electrical equipment Inspected, Tested and Tagged on a regular basis you are enabling any damaged or unsafe equipment to be found and repaired or removed from service before anyone is seriously injured or killed by it.
   

Where do you Operate?
We have two bases of operation, a powerTAG Test and Tag Gold Coast base, and a powerTAG Test and Tag Byron Bay Head office. We have mobile units operating in Southern Queensland(The Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and The Gold Coast) and in Northern New South Wales(Tweed, Byron Bay, Lismore, Ballina, Maclean and Grafton Shires) . What must be Tested and Tagged?

All ‘Plug In’ type electrical equipment must be Inspected, Tested and Tagged on a regular basis; the interval of which depends on what type of environment the equipment is to be used in.  Equipment such as;
